Givingtide
International
Global Legal, Constitutional, Fiduciary & Secretarial Centre
Give 100 is coordinated through the Universal Project framework of Givingtide International.
Givingtide International (GI) is the coordinating institution of the global Givingtide order, through which Give 100 is carried. GI’s Universal Project for 2026 is the Institute of Preemptology (IoP). Give 100 is the Commonwealth centenary-facing mobilisation for the IoP, incorporating the Queen Elizabeth II Centre for Cervical Cancer Elimination (QE2C). The founding work is being carried through a centenary observance across the Commonwealth.
Why Givingtide Coordinates Give 100
Givingtide International coordinates Give 100 through its Universal Project framework, its stewardship of the GIVA standard and 1-1-1 framework, and its responsibility for global observance coordination.
Constitutional & Secretarial Role
GI is the institutional centre of the Givingtide order. It guards the Charter, GIVA standard, 1-1-1 framework, Centory model, Universal Project process, and worldwide governance discipline.
Universal Project Framework
GI’s Universal Project is its annual institutional priority. For 2026, that priority is the Institute of Preemptology. Give 100 is the Sovereign Shield observance through which the Commonwealth is invited to help establish the Institute of Preemptology, incorporating QE2C.
Global Observance Coordination
GI holds responsibility for global observance coordination: shared registers, templates, communications, designation standards, the Semidon engine, the 100 Commonwealth Cities, Chapter and GIVA mobilisation, and the transition from public observance to permanent institutional founding.
The Universal Project and Give 100
The Universal Project is GI’s annual institutional priority. For 2026, that priority is the Institute of Preemptology (IoP). Give 100 is the Sovereign Shield observance through which the Commonwealth is invited to help establish the Institute of Preemptology, incorporating the Queen Elizabeth II Centre for Cervical Cancer Elimination (QE2C).
Give 100 formally opens on 21 September 2026, the International Day of Peace, with an Opening Semidon in each of the 100 Commonwealth Cities, and culminates on 21 September 2027. No Semidons take place before the formal opening of the observance; the intervening period is the pre-observance mobilisation period during which preparatory work is advanced.
Give 100 is coordinated through GI’s Universal Project framework and sits within GI’s wider governance architecture: the International Board of Trustees, the Global Advisory Council, and the GIVA Alliance, served by the GI Secretariat under the Secretary-General.

What Givingtide Coordinates
As the coordinating institution, Givingtide International organises the full architecture through which Give 100 advances from public mobilisation to institutional founding. Its coordination spans the observance, the Chapter architecture, and the designation and governance standards that give the work durability.
- Commonwealth city participation across the 100 Commonwealth Cities
- Semidon preparation and observance discipline
- Champion, Beacon, LAMP, and LAMP Companion designation processes
- Chapter and GIVA mobilisation, including GIVA Circles and the Convener-General
- Public communications and institutional positioning
- Records, registers, templates, and designation standards
- Establishment of local Chapter architecture: City Centory, Chapter Board of Trustees, Chapter Executive Committee, and registered GIVAs
- Transition from observance mobilisation to durable institutional and Chapter formation
A Semidon is a cause-seeding gathering convened to awaken, organise, or multiply support for a worthy cause.
A Semidon is not an ordinary fundraiser. It may seed gifts, pledges, volunteers, advocacy, solidarity, partnerships, public commitment, institutional alignment, or other substantive forms of support. For Give 100, Semidons begin when the observance formally opens on 21 September 2026.
Dr Abia Nzelu serves as Secretary-General of Givingtide International, the chief executive and coordinating officer within GI’s constitutional and secretarial order. A physician and prevention advocate, she co-founded mass medical mission and established Givingtide to address extreme poverty as a principal driver of poor health. Her work in prevention strategy and community-based health delivery helped establish the field model, evidentiary base, and institutional logic from which the Institute of Preemptology emerged. She leads the GI Secretariat from the Operational Headquarters in Abuja.
